Week in Media. A lot was happening.
1-Tuesday 2011 03 22 came the CHEX-TV news editor Pamela who asked about the radiation disaster, and I must say I was impressed with her professionalism and beauty. I had lived through the Chernobyl disaster first hand as a successful single mother of two small girls and a biochemist from the isotope lab at Warsaw University. The best outcome from the 3 minute program was that my younger daughter now in Vancouver informed me that Dr. AZ was watched by her friend who said I missed your mother and our talks. And he liked Dr. AZ showing radiation measurements on Workman’s scintillation counter from 1980 still in use.
2- Wednesday was at Trent Radio FM 92,7 the Philosophy Day, and D. AZ had a talk for 60 minutes on Philosophy (phylos=loving; sophie=wisdom) in Science and Politics, thus love of wisdom by scientists and politicians.
3-Thursday 10 am the CHEX TV came for my Story on Interesting Events and people, and after the old history of Dr. AZ research the new interests of Dr. Alicja were described: “Epi-GENOMICS as the basis of rare diseases”
4-Thursday 11 30-12 30 was the normal Trent Radio program on: “Nature and Health” on glutathione as the master detoxifier cleaning up cells, and again radiation disaster of a mother who learned not from the government but from scientist in Sweden who himself measured radiation already 2 hours after Chernobyl disaster. In Japan the disaster is worse because ocean waters are polluted while in Chernobyl only land was polluted. Winds blew radiation unexpectedly northwards to these Swedish scientists who made the rattle. In Trent Radio new students are accompany Dr. AZ on: “Kids for Healthier Kids” as it is easier to learn from peers – often said to be the right persuasive way. At 4 pm the last minute participation, at the Alumni Office in Trent University, in an Art Show to see a triptych of 3 drawings: a caricature of Dr. Zobel, the graph of 2 year girl and synthesis by Dr. AZ just a dot.
5- Saturday the discussion on possibility of production of colloidal Iodine which might be better absorbed.
6- Sunday a day off for further thinking
Alicja Zobel
