Hello, I'm Dr. Alicja Zobel, or Dr. AZ for short.Welcome to my blog.
I am a native of Poland and have been a professor of biochemistry, cell physiology and photochemistry since 1971 at the University of Warsaw (Poland), Trent University (Canada) and as a visiting professor at Cornell University (USA). My interest has shifted from the health of plant cells to the health of human cells, as each human cell needs to be protected from environmental influences, and harmful toxins as well as being properly nourished. Only then can one achieve a healthy body.
For seven years I was the secretary for the Phytochemical Society of North America, and have looked for anticancer natural products. Every year I attend between six and ten scientific meetings allowing me to travel, and meet scientists from all over the world. I also co-operate with scientists at seven other scientific institutions. For the past 10 years have been giving free public seminars at Trent University, Peterborough Regional Hospital St. Joseph’s Site in Peterborough Canada, and Lublin Medical Academy in Poland on nutrition and health.
